Refund policy
new retail returns & refunds
New retail items may be returned within 30 days. Items must be unopened, unused, and with original packaging intact. Registry gifts may be returned within 90 days of the registry event date.
A receipt is required to issue a refund to the original form of payment. All returned gifts are refunded to store credit.
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility, though we can reduce the cost by generating your return label and deducting it from your refund. Orders that originally qualified for free shipping will have actual shipping costs deducted from any approved refund.
New retail returns and exchanges may also be made in-store upon approval.

restocking fees
Items that retail for $199+ are subject to a 10% restocking fee. If the order originally shipped free, the actual outbound shipping cost will also be deducted from the refund. Return shipping costs will also be deducted from the refund.
made-to-order & custom items
Made-to-order and custom items are non-returnable. Storytime and Monte purchases may be canceled within 24 hours for a 5% cancellation fee. After 24 hours, the item(s) are in production, so orders may not be canceled or refunded.
sale items
Sale items are final sale.
used retail items
All used items, including marketplace, portal, consignment, bundles, and gently used carriers and cloth diapers are final sale, though you are welcome to sell them back to us.
defective items
Please contact the manufacturer directly to resolve issues with defective items. We can help you get in touch with the correct person. Email newretail@nestinghouse.com.
